Photography / Still Life

Once, I looked out the window where I work and realized that everybody was walking around in circles with their mobile phones attached to their heads - it reminded me of that scene from Dawn of the Dead in the car lot. -- Jamie Hewlett

Inspired by the quote above, I set out to capture mobile phone (cell phone) culture, which I have come to see as a sort of herald of the 'urban zombie'. The discarded shells or 'husks' of old and outdated mobile phones. The way of the culture.

All my black and white photographs are taken with an old 35mm Canon with a skylight lens filter. The film is Kodak Tri-X, ASA400 (set at 320).
Printed on Ilford MGIV FB paper.
